Instructional Guide: Adding Express Capture to Media Gallery

Step 1:

Go to the UKZN Moodle LMS – Learn

Step 2:

Click Login (Top Right)

Step 3:

Enter your Username and LAN login password, Click Login.

Step 4:

Click My Courses (Top Left) Select the Course you wish to add content to.

Step 5:

Once in your Course Page, select Media Gallery in the Navigation Panel (Right).

Step 6:

Click Add Media.

Step 7:

Click Add New and select Express Capture

Step 8:

Your webcam will open, Click the Red Dot to begin recording.

Step 9:

When you are done recording Click Stop.

Step 10:

At this point you may choose to:
- Record again: Will begin a new recording
- Download Copy: Will download a copy locally (Downloads folder on your PC)
- Use This: Uses the current recording

Step 11:

Provide a Name, Description and necessary Tags for your video and Click Save.

Step 12:

If you wish to view your recording, Click Go to Media Gallery.

Step 13:

Your recording will now be available in the Media Gallery.
