Instructional Guide: Using Zoom to Remote Control Another Computer (PC)

Overview

Remote control is useful for trouble shooting, live collaboration of creation of documents, etc. This feature works during screen share.

There are TWO ways to remote control:

1. A person who is sharing their screen allows another attendee to use their screen (PC).

2. An attendee can request remote control from the person who is sharing their screen.

View options” »» Request Remote Control”.

Giving Back Control

After granted access, the person remote-controlling can give control back to the owner of the screen (PC).

View options” »» Give up Remote Control“.

Note:
• When remote access is given, the person has full control of your PC.
• The person whose computer you are requesting control from will always receive a pop up notification to accept or reject.
• Check the settings of your Zoom account online
